# dsh-workspace-jump
[中文](./README_zh.md) | English
A DeepSeek Harness (DSH) web plugin that adds a **Workspace** button to the sidebar footer. Click it, enter an existing directory path, and DSH will create/switch to that workspace.
## Features
- Adds a "Workspace" button to the bottom of the DSH Web UI sidebar
- Supports both Chinese and English UI (follows the DSH locale automatically)
- Opens an input dialog for an absolute path to an existing directory
- Uses the DSH workspace API:
- `ctx.workspaces.create({ path })` registers the directory as a workspace
- `ctx.workspaces.startSession(workspaceId)` switches to that workspace
## Install
From npm:
```bash
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-workspace-jump
```
From GitHub:
```bash
dsh plugin --profile web add github:fogmodel/dsh-workspace-jump
```
For local development:
```bash
dsh plugin --profile web add /path/to/dsh-workspace-jump
```
After installation, restart DSH, then refresh the browser.
## Usage
1. Open the DSH Web UI
2. Click the "Workspace" button at the bottom of the left sidebar
3. Enter an absolute directory path, for example:
- Linux/WSL: `/home/user/project`
- Windows: `D:\project`
4. Click "Create"
5. If the directory exists, DSH will create/reuse the workspace and switch to it
## Notes
- The path must already exist and be a directory
- If the path does not exist, DSH will return an error
- This plugin is for the DSH web profile, not the TUI profile
