# How to install

⚠️ **WARNING:** Make sure to install Deepseek Harness version 0.1.0-rc.7 or higher...

# What is does ? (1.0.0-rs.1)
Add a sidebar to the right side of the workspace screen. This area will contain tabs displaying various pieces of information, including:
- **Dock**: A right-docked sidebar occupying the frame's right details column, with native drag resize. Open/close it with the `Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+B` shortcut or the toggle button in the left sidebar footer; your open/closed preference is persisted.
- **Editor**: Modal editors support viewing the content of objects — a file viewer (raw content or unified-diff side-by-side view) and a tool-detail card, rendered over the whole sidebar.
- **Explorer**: 
  - Display the workspace folder tree, with directories lazy-loaded on demand.
  - Open any file in the modal editor by double-clicking or pressing `Enter`.
  - Full keyboard navigation: arrow keys, `Home`/`End`, `Enter`/`Space`, and `*` to expand one level.
  - Automatically track changes in the workspace (stamp polling + session-dirty debounce), with a manual refresh and empty/error states (no workspace, deleted root, load failure).
- **Git**:
  - Status view with four sections — Staged, Conflicts, Changes, Untracked — each with counts.
  - Stage/unstage per row, discard changes per file or discard all.
  - Create commits (message via stdin; commit staged files or explicit paths).
  - Commit history (newest-first, paginated "Load more") with a commit detail view listing the changed files.
  - Per-file diff of a commit; double-click a file row to open a side-by-side diff view in the modal editor.
  - Automatically track changes, with not-a-repo / git-missing error states.
- **Skills**:
  - Will display a list of skills that the current agent (preset) has loaded/will load into.
  - View the list of skills of the current session along with their status (enable / disable)
  - View the content of skills
  - View the reference files that skills use
- **Tools**:
  - Tool catalog from the host tool registry.
  - Category tags (builtin / mcp / agent) with a filter bar.
  - Double-click a tool to open a tool-detail modal (category + MCP server + parameters).
- Tabs are registered through an extensible tab registry, exposed as `ctx.betterSidebar`.
- Synchronize the light/dark mode of your Deepseek Harness profile (dsh theme tokens / `body[data-ds-dark-theme]`).
- Allows for custom configurations through the settings from the Deepseek Harness configuration interface (explorer poll/debounce, git poll/debounce/timeout, skills poll, view-file dialog width).
- English and 繁體中文 locales built in.
