# dsh-adb-logcat

Android Studio-style **ADB logcat** viewer for the DeepSeek Harness (DSH) Web GUI.

Connects to ADB devices and shows a live, filterable, color-coded logcat panel — floating over the app or docked under the chat composer, like Android Studio's bottom tool window. Built as a proper installable web plugin (host + browser halves).

## Features

- **Device list** — `adb devices -l`, auto-refreshed, with serial / state / model.
- **Live streaming** — `adb -s <serial> logcat -v threadtime -T 300`, parsed into rows.
- **Level filtering** — show all by default; select V/D/I/W/E/F to show only those levels.
- **Text / tag filtering** — keyword or regex, with a per-level color legend.
- **Level colors** — V gray / D blue / I green / W amber / E red / F bright red (theme-aware).
- **Layouts** — floating (bottom-right capsule) or docked under the chat input box.
- **Resizable** — drag the panel's top edge to grow/shrink the log area.
- **Options** — wrap (auto word-wrap), full-width, auto-scroll.
- **Auto-start** — capture begins when the panel opens (device present).

## Requirements

- `adb` on the host `PATH` (from Android platform-tools).
- A device with USB debugging enabled (or an authorized emulator).

## Install

```sh
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-adb-logcat
```

Then restart `dsh web`.

### From a local checkout (development)

```sh
dsh plugin --profile web add link:/path/to/dsh-adb-logcat
```

## Usage

1. Open the "ADB Logcat" capsule in the bottom-right corner.
2. Pick a device (auto-selected when one is present) — capture starts automatically.
3. Use the level chips, text / tag filters, and the wrap / full-width / auto-scroll toggles.
4. "Dock" moves the panel below the chat input box; "Float" returns it to the overlay.

## Security

- The host half mounts a **loopback-only** HTTP gateway (`/api/logcat/*`); remote browsers get 403.
- All device access goes through the host's `subprocess` service (no shell string interpolation).
